Take a family photo under the belly of the 40-foot tall Brachiosaurus – the tallest dinosaur ever discovered, and large enough to drive a car under!
Stroll the scenic trail along the 7-acre Raptor Bay and you may feel the vibrations of our rumbling volcano, but don’t get too close … if the wind is right you may even get wet!
Hug the armored Euoplocephalus, this dinosaur was covered with bony plates and spikes from head to toe – it even had armor on its eyelids!
Keep your eyes open and you may catch a glimpse of turtles sun-bathing on the rocks or an osprey soaring through the sky.
Hidden amongst the natural mountain laurel on the Connecticut Trail are creatures that roamed throughout our state approximately 230 to 185 million years ago. Come across Anchisaurus, one of the first dinosaurs discovered in North America.
Visit the “What am I?” touch and learn stations located throughout the trails. Reach in and compare the shapes sizes and textures of a variety of natural objects including dinosaur teeth, seashells and more!
Discover the longest fingernails ever found on Earth! With hand claws over three feet long, Therizinosaurus sure is one bizarre looking dinosaur.
Take a break in the scenic picnic area, have lunch, an ice cream or just enjoy the view!
