The Dinosaur Place Job Fair

The Dinosaur Place at Natures Art will be holding a Job Fair on May 17, 2009. Fourteen seasonal and full time positions will be available starting June 1st. Positions include Customer Service Representatives, Birthday Party Counselors, Shift Supervisors, Greeters and Educational Assistants. Seasonal positions are open to High School and College students seeking summer employment, education professionals seeking seasonal part-time employment and retirees looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fun-filled educational environment that caters to students and recreational family activities. We will also be filling year-round, full-time managerial positions for varied shifts. Seeking individuals with experience in Customer Service, Food Preparation, Retail Sales, Nature and Outdoor Activities and Education. Positions offer competitive compensation and flexible schedules ranging from 20 - 40 hours per week in a dynamic, friendly and science oriented family attraction setting.

Applications for all positions will be accepted during the hours of the job fair. Dinosaur Place is a unique family attraction located in Montville, Connecticut. The attraction features over 25 life size dinosaurs along 1.5 miles of groomed walking trails, a science and indoor activity center featuring the Jackpot Mine where children can dig for hidden gems, Thunder Creek where participants can pan for "gold" and the Bone Zone where dinosaur skeletons are waiting to be unearthed. Visitors can also enjoy browsing in the 10,000 square foot retail shop featuring crafts, jewelry and educational toys and The Gallery which displays hundreds of mineral and fossil specimens. A scenic picnic and playground area features the largest SPLASHPAD¨ aquatic playground in New England, and opening in June 2009, the new a"MAZE"asaurus™ life-sized maze will add even more excitement to a full day of family fun activities. A snack bar and ice cream shop serve up the perfect quick meal or special treat during your visit. The facility is open year round, seven days a week, from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. with special events scheduled on holidays and school breaks.

WHO: This is a Job Fair open to applicants who are at least 16 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S. Seasonal jobs are available to high school and college students seeking summer employment and retirees and senior citizens looking for part-time employment that offers flexible scheduling. Of particular interest are education professionals seeking part-time employment over the summer months, or during the school year. Full time, year round supervisor and managerial positions also available.
