Dinosaur Camp Fast Facts
- Event Dates: February 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19.
- Check-In: Check-in for the Dinosaur Camp will run from 11:00 - 11:30 am.
Check-in time is used to get guests into their group and ready for adventure. - Event Time: The Dinosaur Camp runs from 11:30 - 3:00.
- Lunch: We will break for lunch from 12:15 - 1:00 to allow children to eat. Dr. Bones will be eating lunch in the Cobalt Café for adventurers who wish to purchase lunch and dine with Dr. Bones.

Introduction
Adventurer and Paleontologist, Dr. Arizona Bones needs your help on an adventure of prehistoric proportions! The race is on to discover the lost treasure of King Rex before it falls in the clutches of the evil Dr. Dreadful and his gang of fossil raiders. You’ll work side-by-side with Dr. Bones as a junior paleontologist to overcome various obstacles that stand in the way of recovering the treasure and getting it to its rightful place… in a museum.
For Parents
If your child likes dinosaurs they’re going to love our Dinosaur Camp. Throughout the day your child will participate in a variety of dinosaur-themed games and activities designed to stimulate their imagination while challenging their motor skills and dinosaur knowledge. Best of all: It’s free*! Your kids will be talking about this adventure for years to come so don’t miss it.
Restrictions
*Free Event: Throughout the event your child will participate in a variety of free activities that will challenge their motor skills and wit. From time to time the adventure will also migrate through paid activities that follow the storyline. You may choose to have your child opt out of some or all paid activities.
Age: Child must be at least 3 years old to participate. Average participant age range is 3-10.
Repeat Adventures: Due to the storybook nature of the adventure, participation space is limited. We kindly ask you register/limit your child for only one (1) adventure so others may participate.
Optional Paid Activities: Your junior paleontologist will have an opportunity to participate in three paid activities during their adventure with Dr. Bones. At each of these activities the child will receive a gift to take home with them. You may choose to do all three activities for a combination rate of $26.99, participate in single activities if you are unable to stay for the entire adventure, or opt out of the paid activities altogether. If you choose to opt out of the paid activities consider exploring our fossil gallery, fluorescent room, or shops while you wait for the paid adventure to end.
- Jackpot Mine: Help Dr. Bones find enchanted stones. You get to keep all the stones you find in a collector’s bucket. $10.99
- Thunder Creek: Recover lost funds stolen by the story’s villain by panning for “gold”. You get to keep all the fool’s gold you find in your claim. $7.50
- Bone Zone: Join Dr. Bones for a special fossil dig and learn about the dinosaur you’ve discovered. You get fossils to take home in a special collector’s case. $12.75
Registration: We realize it isn’t always possible, but kindly ask you contact 860-443-4367 to register your child for this event. Advance registration helps insure we have sufficient staff to entertain your child throughout the Dinosaur Camp. We reserve the right to limit the number of participants in the Dinosaur Camp based on staff availability. Priority goes to registered guests.
Adult Supervision Required: You must accompany your child throughout the day as they participate in the Dinosaur Camp.
Food & Lunch: State health code restricts outside food from being consumed at our indoor café. You are welcome to bring a lunch or snacks; however you will need to eat it in your vehicle.
